I am not an expert, but I heard that you cut on another sakura-family tree to raise cherries, add the flowery cherry branch to it(cherry on itself for some reason weak and almost impossible to grow), and cut away all the non-cherry branches from the original tree.
Eventually, the tree feeds the cherry branch; two become one – they become a cherry tree…
I wonder if something like that happens when I photograph you. With words, some time, and a persistent desire to actually see you – I cut away all the unnecessary from you; with imagination and infatuation attach myself to you. Soon sweet cherries of images grow on frames of film…
