I agree its not a problem to think away. And when things gets extreme one has to go for a professional help. And I agree that accepting depression as a physical illness helps... but does not society accept it as that? Arent there enough medicine and pills to deal with it? Especially it feels like America is far ahead in dealing with it as physical illness. But how successful is this approach?
In my experience people who contemplate suicide sometimes know that its not a solution to a problem, but they just dont have any will, energy or power to deal with it. Most of the people who are in their right mind and contemplate suicide know they need to go for professional help, they know what they should do. But they dont have will, power or any energy to do it. And pills dont give that will, power or energy to dill with it, they can emulate the presence of those, take the edge off - no doubt, or they can ease the pain. But for how long does it works? When one start to accept that dealing with live takes inner work? When one starts to look at sources that replenish will, energy and power to deal with oneself?
